1-Looking forward to heading to Austin this week and participating in TalentNet Live on Friday. Cool event with a lot of cool folks involved and I am looking forward to doing the closing keynote…hoping to make some new connections between diversity and talent. I will slap my slides up on slideshare when they are finished.
2-I am going to be staying in Austin for a bit and enjoying a bit of SXSW. I will also be speaking there on the 11th. I was pretty sure my session would not get selected this time, but they surprised me. Maybe I will see a few of you there? The last time I spoke at SXSW, I was in Austin for less than 24 hours so I did not get to actually plug into the event itself very well. This time I am going to be in Austin for four days, so I am looking forward to getting wrapped up in things a bit.

3-I have been trying to share more in the way of short video clips and will continue to do that. Last week, I shared this clip. I do not put all of these clips on my blog, but you can subscribe to my YouTube channel to make sure that you get them.
4-I have started having a “Skype day” every month or two…I set aside the bulk of a day to have 20-30 minute conversations with folks via Skype. Sometimes one of us has an agenda, often times its just two people catching up, and / or getting to know each other better. My next skype day is going to be Thursday, March 28th. 5-In addition to the work that I do around issues of diversity, inclusion and innovation, I serve as the Chief Rock Thrower over at Talent Anarchy, and we have cooked up some exciting stuff for 2013. One of the things that I am most excited about is The Frontier Project. There is nothing else like this out there, and if you want to get your hands dirty building the future of Human Resources, this is for you.
6-I have been reading a lot lately and I feel the need to share. I highly recommend the last few books I have read:
