Ebony and Ivory…on the radio.

I am hyper-critical of other speakers and facilitators.  It’s ridiculous.  I am extra, especially, super-duper, hyper-critical of speakers that talk about diversity and inclusion stuff.  It’s really ridiculous.  If you asked me to recommend a speaker (other than myself, of course), there would be a very short list of names that would come to mind. At the very top of it would be Andre Koen.

I first encountered Andre on-line and I liked his message, but I could tell by the look of his materials and the things that he was doing that he brought a lot of new ideas and creativity to his work.  I started to follow Andre and last year we were both on the agenda for a diversity conference somewhere in Iowa, and it was there that I got to see him work.  Dude is Dynamite.

Great message, great presentation style, great supporting materials; I have been a huge fan since seeing him speak.  I speak, write and consult around diversity and inclusion issues, I have attended a lot of events and conferences, I think about this stuff far more than most people and if I was planing a conference, Andre Koen would be my first speaker choice.   I don’t know what else I can say.

I have not seen or spoken to Andre in a while, but I get to talk to him on Monday morning…and you can join us if you like.

We are going to be talking about Rethinking Diversity on blogtalkradio

Monday, September 12th at 8am (CST).

Have a rock and roll weekend, and I hope that you can join us for 30 minutes on Monday morning.  Bring your posse, I think it will be a good chat.

Be good to each other.
