Bringing the Sweetness

If I thought I could get away with it, I would probably call myself a sweetness consultant. I have written about sweetness before, I think it is a wonderful analogy for pursuing the creative potential that exists where things that are different from each other intersect…whether they be people, or ideas, or practices…or atoms.

This video talks about the sweetness. I have done Ignite presentations before, one on freak flag flying and one on profanity…somwhere along the way it occurred to me that maybe I should do one focused on diversity.  So here it is.

This presentation was part of Ignite HR, which was part of the 2011 HR Reinvention Experiment. There are five other presentations that are all worth checking out. Enjoy them all and please share!

Maren Hogan: Building Communities with Quality Humans

David Allen & Kelly Sickmeir: Be, Get, Keep. Turning potential into productivity.

Stuart Chittenden: The Brand Coup

Janyne Emsick: Lessons on Being Human; On the Road from Burma to Omaha

William Tincup: Getting to NO

Be good to each other.

Joe, this presentation is excellent and something that got me on my feet with excitement. It’s such a simple concept but by putting it into play, it could change the world – accepting, celebrating, encouraging diversity (the very word) and spreading sweetness as we do so. As you said, just “Be good to each other.” Thank you so much for sharing this. I love it and have shared it with many others!
