September 2nd, 2008
Who: Greater Omaha GLBT Professionals
When: Thursday, September 4th
5:30 – 6:00 PM – check-in & networking
6:00 – 7:00 PM – regular meeting
(For those interested, a small group will be going out to eat
after the meeting at the Olive Garden!)
Where: Ted E. Bear Hollow (346 N 76th Street Street) is on the north end of the strip mall, directly across from the Kwik Shop at 76th & Cass. The door to Ted. E. Bear Hollow is facing north while the other businesses on the strip mall face west. Parking is available in front or behind the strip mall.
This will be a time of interesting discussion about grief and loss and how it affects our lives hosted by the Centering Corporation (North America’s oldest and largest bereavement center) and Ted E. Bear Hollow (Omaha’s center for grieving children) and led by Joy Johnson, co-founder of both organizations. Plan on an informative and even fun half hour of program!
If you have any ideas or topics you would like to have presented at a future meeting, please let us know. We are also interested in finding new locations to hold our monthly meeting.
