Well, it has taken me a little while longer than expected, but I am back for a second post. I wanted to briefly expand on my previous comments regarding what this site is all about…
I believe there are two primary approaches to Diversity work:
- Social Justice
- Competitive Advantage
From my perspective both approaches are valid and there is a fair amount of overlap between the two. I will promote things relating to both approaches on this site, but will focus primarily on the Competitive Advantage approach as it is far more relavent to the business sector. Having said that, it is my intention to post 2-4 times per week to the site. Sometimes my posts will be some of my thoughts, perspectives or experiences regarding Diversity work but most of my thoughts will be regarding articles, books, websites, events, local resources that seem to be valuable. If there are particular types of information or resources that you are interested in, please let me know.
