March 31st, 2008

It is a rainy Monday morning in Omaha. It is actually kind of pretty and certainly preferred to snow, but it made me want to stay in bed this morning. Today I get to speak at the Governor’s Conference on Community Service, which I am very much looking forward to. My presentation is Diversity and Inclusion: Creating New Social Spaces, which means I will be talking about some of this stuff:
- What Diversity and Inclusion really are and what they mean to our organizations and communities
- An examination of Diversity in our Social Identities and Cognition
- Diversity in our Social Networks
- Generative Teams and Generative Relationships
- Johari Window
That is a lot of stuff, and I am sure we will not cover it all, but that is what I would like to talk about today!
I am off to Lincoln on Wednesday to conduct a workshop for a client and next week is packed full of cool stuff. I am really jazzed about the HRAM Lunch and Technical session on Tuesday. In addition to that I have a couple of workshops for a client on Wednesday, breakfast meetings with some of my favorite peole on Thursday and Friday morning and Saturday, the 8th I am presenting at the Regional HR Games which should be pretty cool as well. In addition to that stuff I have a lot of promotional work to do for events that I have scheduled in April and May.
Have a great week!
