Mostly self-promotional…

Hey! Felt like I should probably see if this thing still works! A few things that might be of interest to you…

I am working on a series of videos, focused primarily on Inclusion. What is it, why does it matter, how does it happen, why does it not happen? …exploring those types of questions. There should be a short intro video out sometime this week with the actual videos following, once a weekish. I will be sure to mention them here and on social media, but it might also be good to subscribe to my YouTube channel if you are interested.

A few upcoming public engagements:

For those of you close to Omaha, I am collaborating with the local chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts to deliver a couple of sessions on bias. May 8th and June 12th.

The Forum on Workplace Inclusion is one of my favorite Diversity and Inclusion focused events, and I am excited to be on the faculty again this year. The conference is April 10-12 in Minneapolis, MN and I will be presenting Flying Your Freak Flag – The Authenticity Advantage on April 11th at 8:00am.

Another favorite of mine is the SHRM Annual Conference and I will be back for, I believe my 7th time on the agenda. I am presenting Designing the Inclusive Employee Experience on June 19th at 10:45am. This session is what much of my work is focused on right now and I am excited to share it with HR leaders. I also have a SmartStage presentation on conflict, Fight. More. Better. the afternoon of the 18th.

Hope to see you out there.

Just a few things I wanted to share, and I am hope to be writing more moving forward. There has been so much to write about over the past year or two that I haven’t been able to write about any of it.

Be good to each other.
